Kit’s long history with AP and several of Texas’ largest newspapers has helped her maintain a long list of global media contacts. She has written about or directed coverage of high-profile and diverse subjects, including the U.S. space program, medical breakthroughs, the Affordable Care Act, global warming and the oil industry.
At AP, she worked with a variety of media formats, including video, graphics, photography and social media. Kit has worked at a number of the country’s highest-circulation newspapers, including The Dallas Morning News and Houston Chronicle. During her tenure with the Houston Chronicle, she served as State Editor for nine years while directing coverage of the Texas Legislature, the state prison system, weather disasters and major trials around the state. Her broad experience makes her an adept partner to law firms in any area of practice.
