Trial Lawyer John Runde Joins Austin Law Firm Weisbart Springer Hayes

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas litigation boutique Weisbart Springer Hayes LLP has added trial lawyer John Runde in the firm’s Austin office.

Mr. Runde has jury trial and bench trial experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation in courts throughout south and central Texas. These matters have involved first-party insurance defense, construction defect claims, complex contract and fiduciary duty disputes, non-compete claims and employment discrimination filings. He also has appellate experience, authoring numerous appellate briefs and presenting oral arguments.

A native of Austin, he earned his law degree with honors from the Texas Tech University School of Law in 2014. He was a member and Article Editor of the Texas Tech Law Review and participated in moot court and mock trial competitions.

Before attending law school, Mr. Runde served in the United States Marine Corps for six years and was deployed as an infantry Marine to Iraq from 2007 to 2008. He has also served as an intern in the United States House of Representatives.

Before joining Weisbart Springer Hayes, Mr. Runde worked at the Corpus Christi firm of Huseman & Stewart, focusing on commercial litigation and trials.
