HOUSTON – Three shareholder attorneys with Texas-based Roberts Markel Weinberg Butler Hailey PC have earned selection to the Texas Rising Stars list for 2018, which recognizes the top young lawyers in the state. Litigator Rick Anderson, based in Houston, was chosen for his outstanding defense work in professional liability cases. Board Certified in Consumer and Commercial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, he has been selected to the Rising Stars list every year since 2012. Mr. Anderson also represents emerging companies, venture capital and private equity firms, and publicly held companies. Justin Markel earned selection to Rising Stars for a fourth consecutive year for his work in employment and labor law. Board Certified in that practice area by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Markel is based in the Houston and Fort Bend offices. He also represents clients in complex corporate and real estate matters. Aaron Dobbs, who works from the firm’s Fort Bend office in Sugar Land, earned recognition for this work in estate and trust litigation. He is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He advises clients on estate plans and assists beneficiaries, fiduciaries, creditors and nonprofits in estate and trust matters.
