Defense firm projects growth with partner promotions

DALLAS – Sargent Law P.C. is pleased to announce the promotions of Guy Swartz and Martha Posey to Partner. The boutique defense firm litigates across the state of Texas with experience defending clients from individuals to Fortune 500 giants.

“We are so pleased to bring Guy and Martha on as partners,” said firm founder David Sargent. “They do incredible work for our clients. This was the natural next step for them and our firm.”

Mr. Swartz’s practice includes general liability, transportation, premises liability, oil and gas and others. His experience involves representing one of the largest beverage companies in the world where he worked on matters related to transportation defense, product liability and premises liability. “Getting to work alongside David has really been eye-opening for me,” said Mr. Swartz. “I am very excited to continue working and learning from this great team.”

Known for tenacity and attention to detail, Ms. Posey uses her background in the finance industry to advise her clients on matters involving liability. She regularly defends against claims of premises and general liability and transportation matters. Her background also includes trying cases in federal and state courts.
