Texas Justices Don’t Disfavor Any One Court With Reversals

David Coale of Lynn Pinker Cox & Hurst LLP said he’s heard the “Ninth Circuit of Texas” epithet applied to the appellate courts in Corpus Christi, Eastland and Beaumont.

“It changes every few years,” he said. “An area gets a reputation for being plaintiff-friendly and the court of appeals gets carried along with it.”
