Mitchell told Law360 on Tuesday there were several reasons why moving to Hicks Thomas made sense for him, including the flexibility that working at a boutique firm offers his clients.  John and I have been talking about doing something together for about 30 years now, Mitchell said, explaining the pair have remained good friends since their clerkship. It felt like the time was right. I certainly enjoyed my nine years at Andrews Kurth, I worked on fascinating matters for really great clients. It was just time to have a change.
