Enrique Arochi gets district judge removed as he appeals Christina Morris kidnapping conviction

Dallas criminal defense attorney Barry Sorrels, who is not connected with the case, said it’s not unusual to have judges recused over a disagreement. Oftentimes it has nothing to do with whether a judge was not impartial or unfair, Sorrels said. It’s really just a prudent decision at the time to simplify the overall situation and to remove the possibility of any types of arguments being made later.
