Jackson Walker Partner Jackie Staple provided legal analysis in an article by Business.com exploring whether businesses should still drug test employees for marijuana usage.
Ms. Staple, a labor and employment attorney, told Business.com that whatever employers decide to do regarding the changing laws and attitudes around the drug, they must stay consistent.
“Employers should be clear about their policies for marijuana and other drug testing and administer those policies consistently and in accordance with applicable law,” Ms. Staple said.
