DALLAS – Orsinger, Nelson, Downing & Anderson, LLP (ONDA)’s longtime paralegal Alison Etherly has been elevated to attorney after earning her J.D. to pursue a career as a family lawyer.
“We are extremely proud and grateful that Alison is in our corner, advocating for families each day,” said managing partner Scott Downing. “She started her career as a paralegal in 2007 and has seen it all. She is an integral member of our team.”
A mother of two, Ms. Etherly brings an insider’s perspective to family law issues. She focuses her practice on matters involving divorce, child custody, family violence, mediation and property division.
“I am overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement as I take on this new role,” said Ms. Etherly. “It feels like a full-circle moment, and I look forward to fighting for just resolutions on behalf of our clients.”
Armed with professional dedication and workplace integrity, Ms. Etherly approaches her cases with compassion, keeping in mind that family law matters can be emotional, stressful and challenging.
Ms. Etherly earned her undergraduate degree in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her J.D. from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law. She is licensed to practice in Texas and Arkansas.
