The Post and Courier, a newspaper in South Carolina, features Dean Omar Branham Shirley’s recent $63 million verdict against pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson.
The firm’s client, Michael Perry, spoke with The Post and Courier about his trial experience and his mesothelioma diagnosis, which he says was caused by the company’s now-discontinued baby powder.
“Listening in graphic detail of what my life is going to be like and what death is going to be like is something that I wouldn’t relish on anybody,” he told The Post and Courier. “I had to sit there and listen to that.”
