SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio residential mortgage lending attorneys Allan B. Polunsky and Jay G. Beitel once again have been recognized as two of the top attorneys in Texas in the Texas Super Lawyers list.

This marks the sixth consecutive year that the principals of the mortgage law firm Polunsky & Beitel, LLP, have been recognized in the annual Texas Super Lawyers list. Both attorneys were named to the 2011 list based on their professional accomplishments in representing mortgage originators and banking clients.

Mr. Polunsky and Mr. Beitel were among the first attorneys in Texas to earn rare dual certifications from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Residential Real Estate Law and Commercial Real Estate Law.

The latest edition of Texas Super Lawyers magazine also contains an article titled "The Polunsky Unit," which profiles Mr. Polunsky's leadership in Texas' legal, business and political communities, including his role as the only man in history to serve as Chairman for both the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
