DALLAS - The Dallas law firm of Shackelford, Melton & McKinley, LLP, is pleased to announce the additions of Mario A. Mata in an Of Counsel role and Macy Melton Humble as an Associate.

Mr. Mata is a nationally recognized authority on international trusts and related estate planning strategies. His background includes work in all aspects of business and estate planning for high net worth individuals and families, including the development of strategies to efficiently transfer family and personal wealth to existing and future generations.

Mr. Mata is highly experienced in using these strategies to protect the assets of Latin American and other foreign nationals in compliance with probate matters in international jurisdictions as well as United States tax regulations. He earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1978.

Ms. Humble has served as bond counsel in underwriting a number of prominent health care organizations, governmental agencies, academic institutions and non-profit organizations. She also represents clients in other business transactions, mergers and real estate acquisitions. Ms. Humble earned her law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1988.
