DALLAS - Stroz Friedberg, LLC, a leader in digital forensics, cyber-crime response, e-discovery and sophisticated electronic and traditional investigations, is announcing the opening of its new Dallas office and cutting-edge computer forensics lab. Leading the firm's Dallas operations is former high-level federal prosecutor Erin Nealy Cox, who joins Stroz Friedberg as Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel.
With six offices in major U.S. cities, Stroz Friedberg helps clients in matters ranging from theft of intellectual property to lost laptops, click fraud to online review, load files to leaked confidential information, internal corporate data wiretapping to white collar defense investigations, database forensics to corporate hacking incidents, cyber-extortions to fabricated e-mails - and all other matters, digital and investigatory. The firm's broad client base includes public and private businesses, global corporations, law firms, government agencies and the courts.
"Technology has fundamentally changed the way we work and communicate. These same advances also have created new opportunities for rogue employees and outsiders that represent enormous risks for companies," Ms. Cox says. "We specialize in the kind of concerns that keep CEOs awake at night, and we work closely with them to solve their digital problems and put their minds at ease."
As a federal prosecutor, Ms. Cox served as the Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property Coordinator for the U.S. Attorney's Office, Northern District of Texas - Dallas Division. She led major cyber-crime prosecutions across the United States as well as handling complex white-collar fraud, public corruption, intellectual property theft and child-exploitation cases. During her career with the Department of Justice, Ms. Cox also served as chief of staff and senior counsel for the Office of Legal Policy at Main Justice in Washington, D.C.
"We couldn't be happier about the launching of our Texas office with Erin" said Ed Stroz, Co-President of Stroz Friedberg. "Our clients have made us the firm-of-choice because we provide superb service and protection for managing the complexity of navigating through e-mail, electronic documents and investigations. Nobody knows more about this field than we do."
